Caption For Artwork (Description About Artwork): This is a piece I created using oil pastels and color pencils to highlight the beauty of a lotus in full bloom. I focused on layering shades of pink and magenta to give depth to the petals. To keep the lotus as the centerpiece, I blurred the background with softer strokes of greens and blues, representing water and lily pads. The blurred background contrasts with the detailed flower, ensuring the vibrant lotus stands out. I used color pencils for finer details, like the veins in the petals and the glowing yellow stamens at the center.
